Pads fell soundlessly upon the geological collage of dirt and rocks, leaving slight imprints in the dirt behind them, with the darker lightning mark embossed in the center of the small craters.Rocks were turned aside callously, falling off the steep path to the floor of the canyon far below, with a muffled 'chink' as each pebble landed on the dirt below,a small plume of dust billowing upwards. The only movement in the canyon, save the lithe ebony she-wolf who moved tirelessly up the canyon. The sunlight, only a few golden beams brave enough to venture into the canyon, clung to the topaz totems attached to her left ear and hung around her neck.It clung desperately to these, the only light things, both literal and figurative,in a land such as this.
Muscles rippled under her thick coat, each step defined with certainty and relative force put behind it.Well-defined tiara was lifted to stare hard at the huge black skull that rested atop the peak,an ebony beacon of Hell, the very gates. That only increased the level of magnetism it held for her.Something about the raven minx was cold, and set,as if everything near her was dead.Gait was returned to,the march of a soldier.Black feathered wings shuffled in the wind, navigational feathers spreading at the very tips, reaching out over the canyon so wide was her wingspan.Wings flapped once,a downdraft causing columns of dust to commit suicide and drift out over the chasm. Not falling.Flying.
A mantra was repeated endlessly inside her head, drilling into her,the one she had nursed in her bitter heart since the first time she had been cast aside from her albino family. This night, walk the dead. The jaws of the skull loomed ahead of her and without even giving it a second thought she allowed them to consume her,the shadows sliding over her and welcoming her to the dark, where she sounded a single note, sharp and piercing, bouncing off the chamber of bone.

Rebel raised his head slowly from his paws. His single, crimson eye blinked and flickered. Leathery nose twitched as he carefully took in the scents drifting towards him. Paws clutched as the smells came closer. The sunlight was peeking weakly through the clouds, as it always did. The valley surrounded by the steep canyons looked grim under the gray carpet. The breeze, which would of been calm during this time was howling as they twisted through the canyons. Something disturbed this lonely silence, a clunk of a pebble. The black wolf's ears shot up and he immidiatly got to his feet. Chains screeched softly as he positioned himself for a better view. His raven, black wings were raised slightly on his back. He stared intently at a particular spot to the right of him where the sound came from. A husky snort was immiteted. Show yourself. Lips twitched upward at a sharp call. Shoulders pulled foreward and wings lifted like withered towers above him. Tail raised slowly and his single eye quivered intently. There was a shape that was becoming visible. a slow, grim smiled crawled across his scarred face. So, you dare trasspass he told the wolf in a rather cool voice. One of his ears rotated backwards at the sound of a piercing caw. It was no doubt perhaps Seeker, his raven. That Seeker, Rebel thought rather irratably, always poking his beak around where he shouldnt.

OOC}}Due to the 'Black Wolf' Image shortage, she looks vaguely like a husky with regard to her face. But the rest is black.
The wind that had previously stirred the dust fallen inside the canyon was nothing in here.Nothing.This was a temple of silence and darkness, where nothing was certain.Felted thorns deciphered the growl,a low sound emanating from the well-structured female's left.it was all Kai could do to prevent a sick smile from spreading over her mug-a belligerent one,she was, always ready for the arguments. It temporarily placated the dark sting of rejection in her heart. The rattle of chains..such an enigmatic defining feature. The dark, almost sadistic laugh built up in her ribcage,a well of cold mirth, spilling out into the silence, heavy in the quiet air,so dark and musty.Wings stretched out towards the roof, angular beacons to the roof of hell.Jaws snapped violently closed, sudden as only moments ago she had been laughing. With the snap silence once more filled the room, only to be shattered like a mirror by Rebel's words. The slight 'chink' of her earring being flicked follwoed the words as she contemplated before responding, her voice mirroring his cool and composed tones. It is not a matter of whether I dare, merely a matter of whether or not I chose to enter.Surely you should not wish it that a servant of Sheikra instead wandered upon the lands of the Lights?

Rebel couldnt help but smirk at the female as she proceeded into displaying her confidence. The snap sent his tail upwards and hairs bristling, he liked that. His single eye hovered over her earings which clinked everytime she seemed to move her ears. Though unfortunatly her lovely display had to become a bit humble if she were to join him. The brute's lips twitched into a sneer as she talked of Sheikra. For Sheikra was the darks' goddess. She held all the values a dark should hold. He nodded quietly, she was right. The lights he snarled under his breath as she mentioned them as well. True he replied to her words. He strolled carefully towards her while raising his feathers and bristling his mane. There was power behind those heavy chained paws. When he was close he continued with a poisonous tone, your name? He looked at her intently almost as if daring her to do something else.

The static energy in the room was nearing the point of tangibility, and reacting to ehr Element,a brilliant bolt of lightning darted in from the roof, for an instant fillnig the room with bright blue light.Despite the huge amounts of energy gathered in the bone cave,Kai's ravened fur stayed flat,non-responsive to the charges.Kairen gave no sudden response to the bolt, instead choosing to ignore it,as there were more important matters at hand.Topaz eyes remained upon the ebony wolf at the forehand, studying her.It was all Kai could do not to grin-there was something vaguely sadistic about the scenario. He mumbled and his wings lifted, but the words were indistinguishable. Her own raven wings flared out at the sides, illuminated from the rear by the last of the days light, throwing her into stark contrast. It was then he asked her name and the raven minx stared him down as she responded in a composed tone.Kairen.

There a bright, blue light shot across his home, illuminating it for a brief moment. Rebel could feel an invisible force that made his back shiver. His single eye opened slightly as the light made the stranger more clearer. The hairs on his neck and back lifted from the static generated. It seemed to have died away rather quickly. I assume Kairen that you would like to join me correct? he began almost immidiatly circling her half way and pausing by her haunches. He breathed in her perfume and whipped his tail aside in excitement. He continued until he was finally out of her way and looking back at her. A grim smile stretched across his scarred muzzle.

Although Rebel circled around her, topaz eyes did not once deviate from the wall he had left in his wake, narrowed lanterns focused on it calmly as he came around to stop by her haunches, wings lowering to a horizontal level by her sides, feathers outstretched to the sides before folding neatly into her thick fur again.Cool tones escaped her jaw, unflustered by the situation at hand.If a leader should be influenced by assumptions, then I am,indeed.

Good he answered, his tones seeping with pleasure. He quickly closed his jaw. He didnt actually mean to do it. For showing attraction at this stage meant weakness in his mind. But it was the breeding season, how could a male not resist? Especially a dark one who needed pleasure to keep him happy. He rustled his feathers quietly. Well he started, revealing his yellow fangs. I dont exactly know where to put you yet, I shall decide when i have observed you closely he continued looking at her intently with his single eye. His ears slapped forth, then again you could get a high rank if you do a little something for me. His toungue ran over his filthy teeth, and then ran along his cracked lips.

Kairen was well aware what season it was.But not just anyone got Kairen.Although she stayed still, her eyes followed his every movement, each shift in tension he made.Feathers rearranged silently, giving her a most sinister silhouette against the bone wall. His words caught her attention, which had wandered to analysing every minute detail of the skull, from escape routes to possible ambush place, places to watch whenever she was in here.Kai had an incredibly analytic mind. She watched him with a guarded expression, her words inflecting in a question at the end.Keep talking. What might this something be?
